MEBO Group Donates to Tsinghua University to Boost Sustainable Development Initiatives
On May 16, 2025, MEBO Group made a landmark donation to Tsinghua University’s School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM) and the Institute for Sustainable Development Goals of Tsinghua University (TUSDG). The donation ceremony, held at Tsinghua’s SPPM History Hall, brought together prominent figures, including MEBO Group President Yang Zhibin, Vice President Liu Gang, Professor Zhu Xufeng (Dean of SPPM and Executive Dean of TUSDG), and Ji Jingwei (Deputy Secretary-General of the Tsinghua University Education Foundation).

Professor Zhu Xufeng expressed heartfelt gratitude for MEBO Group’s generous contribution, which will significantly enhance Tsinghua University’s initiatives in sustainable development. The funds will be allocated towards expanding educational programs, fostering faculty growth, and advancing international academic partnerships, with a strong emphasis on leveraging China’s experience in global sustainability.

New Scholarship to Foster Regional Policy Innovation
A key aspect of the donation is the establishment of the “Tsinghua Friends – Kevin Xu APEC Regional Public Policy - SDG Scholarship.” This scholarship will support young scholars from the Asia-Pacific region working on public policy and sustainable development, furthering Chairman Kevin Xu’s commitment to regional cooperation and fostering a new wave of global governance leaders.
