MEBO Chairman Kevin Xu Addresses the Informal Economic Forum

On March 21, 2024, Kevin Xu, Chairman of MEBO International and APEC 2023 Host Committee, attended the Informal Economic Forum (IEF) in Europe. The forum, chaired by Peter Kasalovsky, brought together dignitaries such as Peter Mihók, Honorary Chairman of the World Chamber Federation and Chairman of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce, as well as former Slovak Minister genmjr. Ing. S. Naďovič. They discussed critical issues related to war and peace, the degradation of values leading to human suffering, and the misuse of power.

During the session, Kevin Xu used the 2023 APEC meetings as a case study, illustrating through a video presentation how meaningful resets and restarts can be established under current global conditions. Xu proposed the creation of strategic communication centers between nations to introduce new concepts and perspectives, aiming to inspire and resonate globally, thereby enhancing international dialogue. He highlighted the importance of collective effects, citing APEC's exploration of diverse approaches to connect individuals from varied backgrounds, thus building bridges for better communication. Additionally, Xu shared strategies on instilling a sense of responsibility among the younger generations.
